Control Resonant The Party Won’t Stop: Karaoke Answers

Where the karaoke apartment is, how to get past the locked door, the nine lyric picks in order with their directions, and the trophy a single miss locks out.

Short answer

Pick the line that rhymes: Gasoline, Stress, So fleeting, Too long, Move, Fear, Everything, Higher and higher, Shout. As directions that is Right, Left, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Right. Every wrong or missed pick kills a partygoer and loses the Be What You Want to Be trophy for that run, so save before you touch the microphone.

Where is the karaoke apartment?

The Party Won’t Stop is in the western part of the West Incursion Zone, south of the Parking Garage near the Broadway Testing Facility (Whisper of the House). Look for the “Singing Reported?” activity marker. Nerdschalk’s map label reads “Investigate the Source of the Music.”

You need Shift first. It comes from the Incursion Fault in the same zone’s parking garage. See how to unlock every ability.

How to get in

  • 1. The front door is locked from the inside. Don’t look for a key.
  • 2. Go to the roadside gravity anomaly beside the building and Shift onto it.
  • 3. Walk up the altered surface until gravity flips, then step off and float onto the apartment roof.
  • 4. Take the blue rooftop doors and go downstairs, following the music to the purple-lit dance floor.
  • 5. Walk past the Exhausted Dancers to the glowing machine. When the objective reads Sing, use the microphone.

Nerdschalk describes another way in: climb the building exterior from the alley and cross the rooftops to the same open doorway.

All nine karaoke answers

Each prompt asks you to finish the line with the word that rhymes with what the machine just sang. Early rounds offer one option and later ones up to four, all on a short timer (games.gg). Learn the directions before you start.

Whisper of the House and games.gg give the same direction sequence. If your wheel looks different, go by the word, not the direction.

  • Wrong pick or timeout: one guest dies and the song carries on. The quest still completes.
  • No retry mid-song: load a save from before the microphone to try again.
  • All nine right: let the performance finish. No fight or extra conversation is needed.

Rewards and the trophy

  • Varsity Jacket, an outfit for the Wardrobe. KeenGamer says you get it even after a mistake.
  • Untapped Bar Blade, a weapon form that can restore health while a summon is active.
  • Be What You Want to Be trophy or achievement, only for a run with no deaths.

This is the one semi-missable trophy in the game, so it matters for the platinum. The quest also counts towards Panopticon Intern, along with The Complete Set and the Freeze Frame cameras. Every other jacket and hood is in our outfits guide.

Karaoke FAQ

What are the karaoke answers in Control Resonant? In order: Gasoline, Stress, So fleeting, Too long, Move, Fear, Everything, Higher and higher, Shout. On the wheel that is Right, Left, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Right (Whisper of the House, games.gg).

What happens if you pick the wrong lyric? A partygoer dies, the song carries on and the Be What You Want to Be trophy is lost for that attempt. Letting the timer run out counts as a miss too. Reload a save from before you touched the microphone to try again.

How do you get into the karaoke apartment? The front door is locked from the inside. Use Shift on the gravity anomaly by the road, walk up the altered surface onto the roof, and take the blue rooftop doors down to the dance floor.

Do you still get the Varsity Jacket after a mistake? Yes. KeenGamer says a perfect performance is not required for the jacket. Only the trophy needs a clean run with no deaths.
