Where is the art gallery?
The puzzle is in the Könstig Art Gallery (some guides write Konstig) near the middle of the Evacuation Zone, just past the Main Street fast-travel door. The Echo exhibition sign is visible from the entrance (TechWiser). Nerdschalk puts it on the road southwest of the Vendor.
Wrong gallery? The Unknown has an upside-down art gallery too. That one holds the Art Exhibition scene from Dylan’s Sketchbook, not this puzzle.
The clue: Paintings Sold This Month
Pick up the document on the front desk, “Paintings Sold This Month”. It lists four works sold from the Charlie Meecham exhibition: Journey, Windows, Thunder and Tides.
The room has four groups of three paintings, each with a switch. A switch moves the spotlight along its group, one painting at a time. Your job is to light the painting in each group that matches its word.
Which painting to light on each wall
Start with the group to the left of the front desk and go clockwise (TechWiser):

Insider Gaming and Nerdschalk give the same answer as second, first, first, second. PowerPyx describes the same lights by pillar position: front-left middle, back-left left, back-right left, front-right middle.
- Quick check: all four correct paintings show a tree.
- No fail state: a wrong painting does nothing, so just keep cycling.
- Common slip: nudging a switch you already set. All four must be lit together.
Reward: the Secret Hideout
When the fourth light lands, a wall at the back of the room opens. Insider Gaming and Nerdschalk place it on the back-left. Go down the stairs to find:
- A Health Upgrade Point in an ice cream crate, raising Dylan’s maximum health.
- Two documents for the Archives.
- One of six Secret Hideouts for the Backroom Espionage trophy.

Can you fail the art gallery puzzle? No. A wrong painting just stays lit with nothing happening. Keep cycling the switches until all four correct paintings are lit at the same time.
