How The Complete Set starts
Once you reach Central, go to the Collector’s Apartment in the western corner. On the second floor, take the first door on the left and use the phone to get the Pete, Nina and Lester recording (PowerPyx, KeenGamer). Guides disagree on where it starts: KeenGamer says the note at the Museum of Curiosities desk also starts it, and PowerPyx says any of its search locations does.
All speaker locations
| # | Where | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Construction site across from the Collector’s Apartment, Central | It sits by the bins and flees into the site. Dodge its pulses and contain it when it pauses. |
| 2 | Museum of Curiosities, West Incursion Zone | Break three Hiss orbs to open the entrance (south on the warped road, northwest on the shifted section, north in the back alley by the lasers). Press the red button at the back. |
| 3 | Auction House, Downtown (Dense Patterning) | Clear the Hiss on the roof, enter and talk to the civilian on the balcony. Catch it as it bounces round the room. |
| 4 | Atlantis coffee shop, Central | Take the Exchange Location Note from the third floor of the Auction Buyer’s Apartment in east Central, walk west to the café and chase the speaker outside. |
Every speaker moves in bursts. Wait for it to stop before you go to grab it. Rushing in mid-pulse gets you hit.
The subwoofer
- 1. Talk to Langston on the southeast side of the FBC Field Office exterior in Central. He gives you the SR Clearance keycard.
- 2. In the Oldest House, take the elevator, then the second elevator down to Executive Research.
- 3. Turn left and open the SR Clearance door in the corner. Kill the Hiss that spawn, then contain the subwoofer when it pauses.
The Auction House ritual
Go back to the Auction House and use the couch beside the civilian to bring out the set. The SINKKI D50 Speaker Set note is your guide. Each piece goes on its material:
| Piece | Place it on |
|---|---|
| Speaker, Glass | The black boxes near the bottom of the stairs |
| Speaker, Stone | The black stone slabs on the stage |
| Speaker, Wood | The wooden bench on the upper mezzanine by the generators |
| Speaker, Blue | The blue tarp hanging off the opposite mezzanine |
| Subwoofer, Water | The puddle by the civilian and the console |
Talk to the civilian at the console and the speakers start pulsing again. Turn off all four during safe pauses. Nerdschalk warns that the ritual is timed, so go straight from one to the next. Leave the subwoofer running.
Subwoofer not responding? Update 1.4.0 removed a delay on the subwoofer interaction (patch notes). Patchcrazy also reports a stall that cleared after leaving the area and coming back.
The final choice and reward
| Choice | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Turn the subwoofer off | The civilian dies and the side story ends at once |
| Turn the volume up | The civilian now hosts several voices, is not hostile, and Dylan says the FBC will collect them. Talk to them to finish. |
KeenGamer says both give the same reward: the Untapped Bout Guard Artifact (+50% Power recovery, +20% damage taken once crafted in the Gap). The speakers count towards Panopticon Intern, along with The Party Won’t Stop, A New Directive and the Freeze Frame cameras.
Complete Set FAQ
Where are the speakers in The Complete Set? Speaker 1 is by the bins outside a construction site in western Central, speaker 2 in the Museum of Curiosities in the West Incursion Zone, speaker 3 in the Downtown Auction House and speaker 4 in the Atlantis coffee shop in Central. The subwoofer is behind an SR Clearance door in Executive Research in the Oldest House.
Should you turn the subwoofer off or turn it up? KeenGamer says both give the same reward. Turning it off kills the civilian and ends the quest at once. Turning the volume up spares them; talk to them afterwards to finish.
Where do you get the SR Clearance keycard? From Langston, on the southeast side of the FBC Field Office exterior in Central.
What is the reward for The Complete Set? The Untapped Bout Guard Artifact. KeenGamer lists it at +50% Power recovery and +20% damage taken. The quest also counts towards Panopticon Intern.
