Codes must be redeemed by October 27, 2026 through the NVIDIA app into a Steam account. RTX 5060 Ti, 5060 and 5050 are not eligible.

The cut-off is the RTX 5070. Anything below it in the RTX 50 line is excluded, however recently it was purchased.

Why this game, and why RTX 50
Control Resonant is a showcase for the rendering features NVIDIA markets on this generation. It supports ray tracing and path tracing, and Remedy’s own top spec tier calls for an RTX 5080 to run 4K at 60fps with path tracing enabled.
Bundles like this are aimed at that overlap: a technically demanding release paired with the hardware built to run it, which is why the eligibility floor sits at the RTX 5070 rather than lower in the stack.
What the free copy is worth
The Standard Edition sells for $59.99, so an eligible purchase effectively removes the game’s cost from your upgrade. The campaign runs roughly 30 hours, with completion closer to 50, and New Game Plus is included at launch.
Against the $69.99 Digital Deluxe, the bundle does not cover the artbook, soundtrack, Untapped Artifact, starter resource bundle or AWE Mission Outfit — those remain a paid upgrade.

The one tier that specifically wants current hardware is 4K at 60fps with path tracing, which lists the RTX 5080. Remember that every published tier assumes upscaling is enabled and none used frame generation.

The purchase window ran August 25 to September 29, 2026 with redemption open until October 27. Once those dates pass, there is no retroactive route — codes are issued at purchase by participating sellers.
The alternatives are ordinary: $59.99 on Steam or Epic, $69.99 for the Digital Deluxe, or $98.98 for The Siblings Collection with Control Ultimate Edition. There is no Game Pass release to wait for.
