Control Resonant Steam Deck Performance and Settings

Valve’s compatibility rating, the lowest-cost settings testers recommend and what frame rate to expect on the Deck.

Short answer

It runs, but Valve rates it Unsupported on Steam Deck, citing graphics performance. With the Handheld preset at 800p and FSR Balanced, Gaming On Steam saw about 30 FPS standing still and the low 20s in combat; TechPowerUp saw drops to the low 20s even at the absolute minimum settings.

What frame rate to expect

  • Gaming On Steam: around 30 FPS standing still, low 20s in combat and occasionally below 20.
  • TechPowerUp: even with FSR Ultra Performance and every setting at minimum, the frame rate kept dropping into the low 20s.
  • Steam Deck HQ: recommends avoiding playing it fully on the Deck for now.

These are launch-period tests. Remedy has not announced a Deck-specific patch; check patch notes for later performance fixes.

Steam Machine and other handhelds
