Control Resonant Underpass Fault Walkthrough

How to reach and finish the Underpass Fault on the island of orange pipes, and why it can feel blocked.

Short answer

You need Reach first (from the Subway Fault, which itself needs Shift from the Incursion Fault). Fast travel to The Spire in the Underpass, head northwest across the floating pillars with Reach, climb the pipes to a lit doorway, clear the fungal Resonants in the flooded chamber, then drop onto the flowered platform at the centre to enter the Fault (AllThings.How).

Route step by step

  • Fast travel to The Spire; the yellow quest zone is to the northwest.
  • Cross the floating concrete pillars, using Reach on traversal points.
  • On the pillar platform beside the pipes, activate the Fast Travel Door on the red emblem.
  • Climb the concrete blocks, follow the pipes up to a lit doorway and drop down the shaft.
  • Defeat the fungal Resonants in the flooded chamber.
  • Follow the corridor, walk the large orange pipes down and land on the flower-covered platform to enter.
  • Inside, activate the glowing points to open the way and reach Jesse.
