Control Resonant Coffee Shop Puzzle Solutions

There are two café puzzles: a four-letter cash register code in the Park and an appliance order in Downtown. How to read each clue, what the guides’ answers were and what you get.

Short answer

Park (Atlantis Cafe): enter the drinks from Tables 1, 5, 4 and 2, in that order, as menu letters. On Method’s and Nerdschalk’s saves that gave BDAC, but Method warns the table orders may differ per save. Downtown: use the appliances from smallest to largest, starting with the radio. Both open a hidden room with a Health Upgrade.

Park cafe: the cash register code

The Atlantis Cafe in the Park sits roughly between the Research Site and the FBC Base (Method). Two notes lie on the front counter next to the register.

LetterDrink on the menu
AEspresso
BIced Coffee
CCaramel Latte
DThe Spiciest Chai
  • 1. Read the Table Reservations note: Table 1, Table 5, Table 4, Table 2.
  • 2. Visit those tables in that order and check the drink on each menu card.
  • 3. Turn each drink into its letter from the menu.
  • 4. Interact with the register and dial in the four letters.

On the guides’ saves the tables showed Iced Coffee, The Spiciest Chai, Espresso and Caramel Latte, giving BDAC. If BDAC fails, your cards are different: read them again with the same method.

Downtown coffee shop: the appliance order

Insider Gaming places the second café puzzle in Downtown, and a note by the counter gives the rule: use each appliance in size order, smallest first. Some of them are not behind the counter.

  • 1. Radio on a shelf on the far side of the shop.
  • 2. Smaller coffee machine.
  • 3. Bigger coffee machine.
  • 4. Soda machine.
  • 5. Fridge.

The order above is Method’s. A wall on the left of the room opens onto the hideout.

Rewards

Both rooms hold a permanent Health Upgrade. Method adds that the Park basement has the “Fuck You, Larry” note, a Notice of Decommissioning and a crate with another health upgrade. The other hideouts, including the gym and washing machine puzzles, are in our secret hideouts guide.
